1000PS called it a very successful everyday and touring motorcycle, praising the smooth engine, comfort and versatility while flagging that the software still has room to mature. Autotrader gave it 4 out of 5, calling it distinctive and surprisingly affordable for what it offers. It's not trying to out-dirt a Tenéré 700, and it doesn't need to — as a road-biased adventure-tourer it's genuinely likeable: comfortable ergonomics, premium electronics for the price, and styling that actually turns heads at the petrol station.
