Motorcycles & Legends provides motorcycle travel information, route ideas, GPX files and general inspiration. Everything here is for planning and informational purposes only. It is not legal, safety, mechanical, medical, insurance, financial or professional travel advice.

Route and GPX disclaimer

GPX routes, maps, route notes, suggested stops, estimated times and travel information are provided for general inspiration and planning only. Roads, access restrictions, tolls, border requirements, traffic rules, weather, hazards and surface conditions can change without notice, and a route that was open and enjoyable when it was ridden may not be either today.

You are responsible for planning your ride, checking current conditions and restrictions, following local laws and signs, judging whether a route suits you and your motorcycle, using appropriate safety equipment, and riding within your abilities. Use all routes and GPX files at your own risk.

We make reasonable efforts to keep information useful and accurate, but content is provided “as is” and “as available”. Motorcycles & Legends does not guarantee that any route is accurate, complete, current, legal, open, safe or suitable for a particular rider or motorcycle, and does not guarantee that the website or its downloads will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the extent permitted by law, Motorcycles & Legends is not liable for loss, damage, injury, cost or inconvenience arising from the use of this website, its routes, GPX files, downloads or newsletters, or from reliance on information found here. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Copyright and permitted use

Unless stated otherwise, the original text, photographs, artwork, design elements, route descriptions and GPX files on this website are owned by or licensed to Alan Jones, trading as Motorcycles & Legends. You may download and use route files for your own personal, non-commercial riding and trip planning, and you may quote short extracts with a clear credit and a link.

You may not copy, republish, resell, redistribute, bundle into a paid product or commercial tour, or present the content as your own without written permission.

This website links to other websites, including retailers, mapping services, social platforms and commercial partners. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, availability, terms or privacy practices.

Changes

These terms may be updated as the website develops, for example when paid downloads, memberships or an online shop are added. The date at the top of the page shows the current version, and continuing to use the site means you accept the version published here. Dutch law applies.
